Visiting Andaman this holiday season? Indeed a great tourism spot. Still, thinking about the accommodations? To make your travel worries simpler for you, we at Andaman Emerald Holidays have come up with a plethora of the best Andaman tour packages to give you a memorable experience. That includes a visit to Radhanagar Beach, a quintessential destination of every Andaman tour.

About the Destination

Located on the western coast of Swaraj Island (formerly Havelock Island), the Radhanagar Beach is the most popular and scenically elegant in the entire Andaman archipelago. Commonly known as Beach 7, coconut trees surround the beach from all sides. Soft white sand, tropical forests on both sides and emerald blue waters – the divinity of nature’s creation welcome you.

The calm and serene ambience of the beach coupled with the picturesque views rejuvenates your soul, right from the moment you enter. With medium waves and light currents, the beach is ideal for swimming. There are numerous chairs, benches and huts scattered along the beach so that you can sit and enjoy.

Among the few beaches in Andaman that is available to the public without any restriction, the Radhanagar Beach is one. You can even enter the beach with food and drinks and enjoy a little picnic with your family and loved ones. However, do not litter. Since the currents are mild and the topography of the seafloor near the beach is gradually transcending, it is very safe. However, lifeguards are stationed during working hours to prevent any unfortunate accidents.

At the centre of the beach is a double-storeyed hut. The hut provides excellent panoramic views and is a great spot for capturing photos and framing memories.
