You may know Andaman and Nicobar Islands as a vacation spot, as most do. However, certain spots there are special in their own way. The Karmatang Beach is one such place, located at a distance of just 12 KM from Mayabunder, a town in Middle Andaman.
About the DestinationÂ
The Karmatang Beach is one of the most visually appealing beaches that Andaman has in store, and is often referred to as the Turtle Paradise of the Andaman. A visit there, as a part of our Andaman Tour Package, is going to be extremely exciting.
Along with the sea beach, you can enjoy alluring views of the far-reaching horizon and invigorating surroundings. One of the very important reasons why people visit there is to get an experience of Turtle nesting – hence the name.
You must include the beach in your vacation bucket list for more than one reason, which can either be a day of rest or one filled to the brim with adventure. For the first kind, there are huts or hammocks present just along the coastline which allows a soothing chance to linger around natural elegance.
And those who’d like to spend their stay differently can indulge in water sports, boat rides and such things available. Also, a 16 km trek to Mount Harriet and Madhuban beach for a deeper probe into Andaman’s varied wildlife is another activity to participate in.
The good thing is that it is one of the less-populated places, which makes it an ideal spot to spend a day or arrange a picnic or beach party with your family. Our Andaman Family Package makes such arrangements, should you have the desire.
The Karmatang beach is not just popular among tourists. Given the rich aquatic life around it, scientific studies are also conducted here.
