Eastern India Hoteliers and Travel Agents Association, better known as EIHATA cuts across all boundaries of geography to promote tourism and the hotel industry in the eastern part of the country. The association was formed with the aim to develop fellowship among hoteliers, and travel agents but has significantly turned out to be a wonderful platform for tackling issues in the industry, learning from each other’s best practices, and improving service quality.
Andaman Emerald Holidays, a prominent tour operator in the Andaman Islands, took part in the STATT event in 2025. Established 15 years ago, they offer tailor-made holiday packages, transfers, and hotel bookings.

During the STATT event, Andaman Emerald Holidays arranged tour operators from South Tamil Nadu and Andaman Islands to develop tourist infrastructure and facilitate travel, which would be culturally and economically beneficial for both locations.
